About Us

Dave and Lynda Freeman met on a volcano and have been married since 1981. They have a daughter, son, daughter-in-law—and three sweet, rascal grandsons who fill their hearts with joy! They live in Michigan in the heart of apple country; just 30 minutes from Lake Michigan.

Lynda Freeman -

Lynda worked as a consultant for Gospel Light, Group and Kregel Book Stores. She has written for Children's Ministry Magazine, Your Church Magazine and HomeFront Magazine, is a contributing author to Big Idea's Veggie Connections Preschool Curriculum, SuperBook's Family Curriculum, The Humongous Book of Bible Skits for Children's Ministry and Equipping Grandparents. She is the author of Praying Deeper Through the Psalms for Grandparents & Parents, Too!, Praying Deeper Through the Old Testament for Grandparents & Parents, Too!, Generations Quest Cultivate the Faith, The DNA of Grandparents & Parents who Hand Down the Faith, Don't Worry; It is Impossible to Spoil Grandchildren and worked with her grandsons to publish Praying Deeper Through the Psalms for Children.

Lynda writes her own blog; grandma's cookie jar and is one of the founding members of the charter team for the Legacy Coalition. Lynda is also the founder of Grandmas with Heart where you are able to read her daily posts on their blog at this link.

Dave Freeman -

If it is tech related, Dave has likely worked on or with it, or could learn to do so quickly! (Note from Dave - Lynda wrote this and may have a slightly inflated opinion of my abilities!) He works in digital printing and IT and Lynda is so thankful for his tech-abilities. Dave has been known to jump off mountains - where he once came face-to-face with a mountain lion. His grandsons call him, Poppa.
